Dear Adult:

You have a lot of potential and worth as a person, and you are the main pillar of a society or group. You are the parents who are nurturing the future generation while also creating a lasting impact. You are at the peak of your life, like the seasons of spring and summer. Spring brings happiness, health, and innovation to your life, while summer offers you many chances and activities to enjoy. You are at a stage where you can explore your choices and follow your dreams with enthusiasm and commitment. Dear Adult, listen to these words of advice and thrive. Whatever situation you are in, happy or unhappy, you have the strength and the energy to change it or maintain it. You can achieve anything you desire while spring and summer last. Let me tell you something amazing that I learned from my own life and from watching others. There is one key decision that can help you reach your full potential and stay healthy. Health is everything!

There is no place like home

The Declaration of Independence proclaims that all men are born equal, that they have certain unalienable rights from their Creator, such as life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. By "all men", it means that every person, regardless of race or gender, has these rights. The "pursuit of happiness" means that everyone can have the chance to own a home and live where they want. The saying "If you don't have a plan then you plan to fail" is true. At FSRC, we believe that a dream remains a dream until you write it down and then it becomes a plan of action!

We have compiled a list of useful resources that will help you achieve your goal of becoming a homeowner. You will find tips on how to save money, improve your credit score, and apply for a mortgage. If you already own a home, you will learn how to maintain it properly and increase its value over time.

Through skillful and godly Wisdom is a house (a life, a home, a family) built, and by understanding it is established [on a sound and good foundation]. (Proverbs 24:3 AMP)

Wisdom for Mental health

Mental health is a key part of our well-being, but sometimes it can be difficult to identify when we need help. Some indicators that your mental health is deteriorating or requires attention are:

  • You feel sad, hopeless, or angry most of the time.

  • You have problems with sleeping, eating, or focusing.

  • You lose interest in activities that you used to enjoy.

  • You withdraw from others or have conflicts with them.

  • You have thoughts of harming yourself or others.

  • You experience mood swings, anxiety, or panic attacks.

If you observe any of these indicators, it is important to seek professional help as soon as possible. There are many resources and treatments available to help you cope and recover from mental health issues. You are not alone, and you deserve to feel better.

Take Charge of Your Medical Health

One of the best ways to take care of your health is to get regular checkups from your doctor. This is called preventive care, and it can help you avoid serious health problems later in life. Preventive care includes things like blood pressure, cholesterol, weight, dental health, eyes examination, breast exams and pap smear for women, prostrate exams for men etc. These tests can detect any issues early and give you the best chance of treatment and recovery. You might think that you don't need preventive care when you are young and healthy, but that's not true. You are busy with work, family, and other responsibilities, but you should not neglect your health. By getting preventive care, you are investing in your future well-being and independence. You will be able to enjoy your life more and avoid unnecessary medical expenses. So, make sure you schedule a yearly exam with your doctor and follow their advice. It's the smart thing to do for your health. Preventive care is not only good for you, but also for your family, your community, and your society. FSRC has researched and selectively chosen some relevant resources that may be very helpful toward you receiving quality healthcare.

Let's Get Physical

Although adults in the prime of their life play many roles as fathers, mothers, parents and work, how important is it that they find time to exercise? This is a question that many people ask themselves, especially when they feel overwhelmed by their daily responsibilities and obligations. Exercise is not only beneficial for physical health, but also for mental and emotional well-being. It can help reduce stress, improve mood, enhance self-esteem, prevent chronic diseases, and promote longevity. Therefore, finding time to exercise is not a luxury, but a necessity for adults who want to live a balanced and fulfilling life.
